Over a period of more than 3,000 years, more than 125 million kilograms of amber are estimated to have been mined in the Baltic Sea, so Sambia has a decisive fate for the amber trade. The present-day part of Sambia is known as Kaliningrad (Калининград) and is also a Russian enclave in Europe. After World War II, Joseph Stalin incorporated Kaliningrad into the Soviet Union. After the disintegration of the Soviet Union, Kaliningrad bordered Poland and Lithuania, but had no connection with Russian territory. Kaliningrad, like St. Petersburg, has the advantage of an ice-free port. Since 2019, the Russian whatsapp database government has opened free electronic visas to the outside world. In addition to St. Petersburg and Vladivostok, Kaliningrad is one of them. In recent years, in order to develop the investment environment of Kaliningrad, the Russian government has not only offered preferential tax measures and strengthened the willingness of foreign investors, but also actively exploited local amber and stimulated foreign sales. Most of the amber artworks are sold to Lithuania, Poland, China, Japan and India. Due to the development of the Kaliningrad amber factory, it has become the only one-stop company in the world, and it supplies more than three-quarters of the amber mines in the market.
